Comedy band? It's exactly what you think it is, a band that plays funny songs! Blasting out of Virginia in late 2019, Loathsome Wind combines the comedic influences of Weird Al, Tenacious D and Flight of the Concords with a touch of Frank Zappa and the Beatles.
Their sound is a mix of funky grooves about consent and proper discourse on dating apps alongside ballads lamenting the loss of adult relationships. And poop.
Loathsome Wind dropped their self-titled debut EP in June of 2020 and was even voted best band in Fauquier County for 2020 and 2021! Currently, the band is reemerging from isolation and getting in front of audiences out in the wild.
